It’s Career Day at Westlawn Middle School

Today I am talking with eighth graders at Westlawn MIddle School in Tuscaloosa about the work of a mobile journalist.

So far, I have witnessed several different professionals in Tuscaloosa talking about their careers.  Among them was Judge John England, who is a local judge and member of 100 Black Men of West Alabama.

In my class, I have had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. LaSonya Wright, one of the eighth grade teachers at Westlawn.

I have interviewed some of Mrs. Wright’s students.
